Virginia Originals is an exciting new concept that
is owned by Christopher and Kellson Savvides. Christopher, with his
family, is the owner of Black Angus Restaurant and Catering in Virginia
Beach, VA. They bring with them more than 25 years of restaurant and
retail experience and through Virginia Originals LLC, they plan to celebrate
the people, the culture and the food of Virginia, while elevating the level
of service, quality of food and marketability of the retail selections to
ensure that the facility's establishment is a desirable destination for
locals and tourists alike. |

The newly-renovated facility includes
Chesapeake Grill, a casual yet full-service restaurant that
features a complete menu including breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a focus
on local seafood entrees, fresh-made soups, salads and grill items, using
locally-grown and harvested ingredients as much as possible. "Grab and
go" items are available for those travelers that are in a hurry and need
to get back on the road. Additionally, outdoor dining will be
open soon for customers that wish to stop, stretch their legs, and take in
the views of the Chesapeake Bay. The Virginia Originals store offers a retail shopping experience that is sure to please customers as it features all that is good about the Commonwealth. With children's items, clothing, customized gift baskets and souvenirs, Virginia Originals is sure to have that "something" for everyone! Ionic Dezign Studios of Virginia Beach, VA created the new design and Hoy Construction of Norfolk, VA performed the renovations that began on April 6.
