Anglers fishing from the Sea Gull Pier, which extends from the southernmost of the four man-made islands at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel, have the opportunity to participate in an upcoming fishing tournament. Anglers can enter into the "Rock Around the Clock" Sea Gull Pier Rockfish Tournament, slated from midnight to midnight November 26, 2011.  Participating fishermen can leave the boat at home, enjoy the amenities at the Sea Gull Pier and enter to win cash and prizes.

The "Rock Around the Clock" Sea Gull Pier Rockfish Tournament requires only a $5 fee for adults to participate and is free for ages 16 and under.   Pre-registration for "Rock Around the Clock" is not required. Tournament officials will be on-site to collect fees and weigh-in striped bass on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel's certified scales throughout the event.  Registration begins at 11:00 p.m. on Friday, November 25.  Prizes will be awarded for the five largest Striped Bass caught during the event.
