CAPE CHARLES, VA – In an effort to be as environmentally friendly as possible, the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel District has implemented a recycling program across the facility.

The Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel District voluntarily takes this step to reduce harmful impacts on the environment.  Recycling containers have been located across the facility in all workplaces for the placement of plastic, glass, cardboard, and paper.  Additionally, separate receptacles are available for aluminum cans.

The Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel employees continue to be cognizant of conserving water and energy efficiently.
