Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel Commission Meeting Access and Public Comment during the COVID-19 Declaration of Emergency
Until further notice, the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel Commission meetings will be conducted pursuant to the provisions of Governor Northam’s Executive Order Fifty-Five 2020.
During the current State of Emergency and in the interest of public health and safety, all of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel Commission members and District staff will be participating in Commission meetings by teleconference. In accordance with the Executive Order, there will be no members of the public in attendance at the Commission Meetings. We are providing alternatives to in-person attendance for participating in Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel Commission meetings.
In lieu of in-person attendance, members of the public may submit their comments in the following manner:
Comment on Agenda Items and Non-Agenda Items must be submitted using the instructions provided on the CBBT website, and indicate the agenda item number for which you wish to submit your comment. Only comments submitted no later than 9:00 a.m, on the day of the meeting will be eligible to be read into the record. If you submit more than one per agenda item, only one will be read into the record for that item. All comments are limited to 200 words. Please submit public comments by email to email@example.com.
If you wish to submit written materials for submission into the record or have an attachment to your comment, you may send it to firstname.lastname@example.org and it will be distributed to the Commission in accordance with the deadlines described above.
